The Sun Lounge

The Sun Lounge is ideally located in that this bright and relaxing lounge offers large windows all along one side of the room looking out onto the hotel lawn, the ruins of the 12th Century McCarthy Mór Castle and, of course, the lakes and mountains beyond. With the warming golden sunlight pouring in throughout the day and evening this is the perfect spot from which to admire the setting in front of your eyes. The Sun Lounge is popular for morning coffee and scones, leisurely lunches for guests, locals and passing tourists. The Lake Hotel classic Afternoon Tea in the afternoon and casual tasty bar food throughout the early evening. The great local fresh produce prepared by our Chefs combined with our friendly and helpful service staff. Guests come back again and again to enjoy this restful and inviting space.
 

The Sun Lounge opens at 10am daily and serves food from midday to 10pm. Non residents are most welcome. Special dietary requirements are catered for as much as possible, advance notice is helpful. Drinks and food are served outside on the lawn, weather permitting.
