Bars in Killarney

The Devil's Punch Bowl Bar takes its name from the stunning glacial lake on Mangerton Mountain set within Killarney National Park, a 25,000-acre oasis adjacent to The Lake Hotel and visible from the bar, restaurant, lounges and majority of bedrooms.

This bright and relaxing bar also offers super views of the lakes and mountains beyond and also is a display area for some of the hotels memorabilia. The bar is always busy for morning coffee and scones and refreshments, The Lake Hotel's classic Afternoon Tea in the afternoon and casual tasty bar food throughout the early evening with locals, guests and passing tourists. There is always something on offer to sate the appetite and thirst at the bar. Combined with our friendly and helpful staff, guests come back again and again.

The Devil's Punch Bowl Bar opens at 10am daily and serves food from midday to 10pm. Non residents are most welcome. Special dietary requirements are catered for as much as possible, advance notice is helpful. Drinks and food are served outside on the lawn, weather permitting. The Bar closes each night at 2am.
